Non-Emergency Repairs

We are committed to providing the best repairs services we possibly can during the current climate. Unfortunately due to the ongoing Covid 19 situation we are unable to carry out a full repairs service at the present time but, as per Government Guidelines, we continue to attend to all emergency repairs. The repairs team have been working hard to ensure that all the non-emergency jobs reported have been logged onto the system to be processed once we are safely able to do so.

Once restrictions are lifted staff will work through the backlog of jobs contacting tenants to arrange access for their repair. If you have already reported a repair please be patient as we work through the list as this process may take several weeks to complete. If you have reported a repair, we will be in touch to discuss it with you as soon as possibly.

Remember - we’re always here for you, despite our office remaining closed!

Since lockdown was imposed in March, the Scottish Government advised us to work from home, rather than their usual workplace, wherever possible. This guidance has not yet changed, with home working and flexible working still being the default position.
The First Minister has said that she was not currently able to announce a date when workers can return to non-essential offices, which is why our proposed date for re-opening our office on 14th September did not happen; neither will our second proposed date of 5th October. Forward dates will be reviewed every three weeks, and as soon as we have any relevant update – you’ll see it here.

A True Work of Art

Stunning new artistic landmark depicting St Thenue is now complete

The stunning and colourful mural by artist Mark Worst received the finishing touches this week.

His brilliant work showing the mother of Glasgow’s patron saint St Mungo has been a major talking point since it first started to take shape some weeks ago.

Located on the gable of 374 Abercromby Street, Calton, it was commissioned by Thenue to mark our 40th anniversary in 2019.

It is a striking reminder of who the housing association is named after and the perfect way to mark four decades of service to the community.

We Are Still Here To Support You...

Tenants have told us that they are delighted we are able to continue with the high level of service that they have come to expect from Thenue and thank us for our continued support. We have been involved in increasing numbers of foodbank and food parcel referrals and working closely with the other services within Thenue.

Survey Seeks to Better Understand Housing Options for Scotland’s Elderly
